The cauldron is the Grand Tool of the element of water. It is normally a three-legged vessel, ideally made of iron. They come in a variety of sizes and has many different uses. The Cauldron represents the womb of the Goddess or fertility. It also signifies transformation since elements enter in one state and leave it in another. It is a traditional symbol of the Goddess.
