Lunar Pairing candles may be burned for moon magick during two lunar cycles each year. Work both sides of the zodiacal Wheel of the Year, for air/Fire mysteries, and the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of relationships between the Personal Knowledge and Societal Wisdom

Light half of the year: (approx. May 21-June 20) Burn during the airy, mutable spring lunation while the sun crosses Gemini. The dark moon (conjunct) will ebb in Gemini, and the full “Strong Sun Moon” (opposition) will peak in fiery Sagittarius.

Dark half of the year: (approx. Nov. 22-Dec. 21) Burn again during the fiery, mutable autumn lunation while the sun crosses Sagittarius. The dark moon (conjunct) will ebb in Sagittarius and full “Long Nights Moon” (opposition) will peak in Gemini.

Spell intentions: Great for magick of knowledge, expression, thought, communication, learning, teaching, philosophical wisdom, mental exploration, travel, discovery, pioneering, academic achievement.
